I'm loving living in Seattle for my summer internship working in Marketing and Operations at Microsoft. I see a good deal of my Anderson peers and last week, attend attended our super-fun Anderson Seattle Mixer! Over 25 students and alumni working in technology in the Seattle area gathered at A Terrible Beauty for a beautiful evening on Lake Union. Claude Brun of Microsoft and former head of the Seattle Alumni Chapter, gave his last speech to the group and thanked student interns and alumni employees from companies like Microsoft, Amazon, T-Mobile, Nordstrom, Boeing and Goldman Sachs for attending. David Cooley of Parker Career Center attended in high spirits and thanked the HTBA and other sponsoring organizations that make these summer mixers possible. Students have a great opportunity to attend to attend these mixer in cities like LA, San Francisoco, New York, Seattle, Orange County and more to meet alumni, hang out with other interns in their city (Andersonians stick together!) and network the heck out of the summer during our internship!
