The end of another admissions season is almost upon us and as usual it's hard to believe how quickly the past several months have gone by. However, we still have lots of work ahead of us as we read Round 3 applications, interview candidates, and finalize admissions decisions to round out the Class of 2016.
We dove into reading as soon as the April 15th Round 3 deadline passed and interview invitations have been going out regularly since then. At this time, the majority of invitations have been sent, but there should be a small number trickling out until the end of the month. Decisions will be released no later than the June 3rd release day stated on our website. Knowing that we always have great candidates apply in the last round, we make sure we have room to admit these top applicants, even with the surge in application numbers this year.
We just had our admit preview weekend, Anderson Days, at the end of April and it was wonderful to see our community come together to welcome the newest additions to the Anderson family. We had close to 250 admits plus sig-os attend events throughout the weekend so campus was indeed buzzing with lots of activity.
Now we're in the process of planning for the next admissions cycle, reflecting on our achievements and also thinking of ways we can continue to improve the application experience for this next group of prospective students. In the coming weeks, expect to see an updated calendar of admissions events on our website. The application for Fall 2015 should be available online around early August, but we will post any updates/changes to application materials prior to then so you can start your preparation early.
