The last few months of the year always seem to fly by and this year was no exception - I can't believe it's already December! Part of this is due to the fact that November was super busy for the MBA Admissions & Financial Aid office. In addition to evaluating Round 1 applications, we hosted three on-campus events where we met some amazing MBA candidates.
Thursday, November 14th was packed with two back-to-back prospective student events. In the afternoon, we co-hosted our annual Women in the MBA Day with the Women's Business Connection. Approximately 60 attendees started off the day enjoying lunch with current students, followed by panels on student life and MBA financing.

The event concluded with Anderson Afternoon, our weekly networking activity for all UCLA Anderson students and a Thursday afternoon tradition.
The day wasn't over yet! Later that evening, we welcomed almost 200 prospective students to Access Anderson, our on-campus information and networking session. In addition to a presentation about our MBA program and application process, Assistant Dean Alex Lawrence moderated a lively and interactive panel consisting of three alumni and one current student.

Their perspectives on the UCLA Anderson experience and life beyond b-school got the crowd energized before moving on to our reception in the Executive Dining Room, where they were welcomed by current students, admissions staff, and Center directors.
Our final November event, Embracing Diversity, took place on November 24th, which adcom Vickie Euyoque will blog about soon!
If you missed us this fall, we have some events in the coming weeks and months where we'd love to meet you. First off, there's a special Round 2 webinar at noon on Thursday, December 12th where we'll be providing tips on the application process and taking your questions. We also have an online chat with Beat The GMAT led by one of our recent alums taking place on Wednesday, December 18th.
Finally, we'll be attending some winter fairs with The MBA Tour in New York, DC, San Francisco and LA in January/February, so if you're in any of these cities, feel free stop by to say hello and have your questions answered.
Thanks to all who attended our recent events, and for those whom we haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, we hope to see you online or in person soon!
