UCLA Anderson Welcomes Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT)!

For the first time in our three year partnership with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), we will be hosting MLT's fall seminar on the UCLA Anderson campus.  MLT's mission as an organization is to equip high potential minorities with the skills and coaching necessary to unlock their potential. 

UCLA Anderson looks forward to hosting the 200 MLT Fellows who will be visiting our campus over Labor Day weekend.  During the course of the weekend, MLT Fellows will focus on career development and MBA preparation while engaging with their coaches as well as university representatives from UCLA Anderson and other MBA programs throughout the U.S. Welcome MLT!

UCLA Anderson Forecast: Is Healthcare Making California Business Sick?

Come join us September 15, 2010 for UCLA Anderson's last Economic Outlook Conference of the year. The UCLA Forecast will present its latest quarterly economic projections for the Nation and State. Additionally, the September 2010 conference will focus on health-care reform and how it may affect California Business.

Health-care reform has already become the law of the land—but most of the major provisions will not take effect until 2014. This delay in implementation provides an opportunity for individuals to develop informed expectations of the law’s impact and devise a strategy for how to prepare. While health care reform is sure to touch many aspects of Americans’ lives, the goal of the half-day conference is to foster an enlightened discussion about the likely effects of the new legislation on California business.

Meet UCLA Anderson MBA Admissions Officer and Alumni in Asia

A representative from UCLA Anderson's MBA program will be in Asia in September 2010.  Come learn more about the UCLA Anderson MBA program and admissions process.  Meet Vickie Euyoque and key alumni on her tour through Asia.  Vickie is returning to Asia after her first successful and rewarding trip last year.  She will be visiting Tokyo, Japan; Shanghai, China; Beijing, China; Seoul, Korea; and Taipei, Taiwan.  As a first generation American with strong ties to Mexico and Latin America, Vickie has a strong cross-cultural awareness that our international students value.

Continuing the Asia tour to Bangkok, Thailand and Singapore, Singapore will be admissions officer Adrian Aguirre.  This will be Adrian's first visit to Asia so please come and welcome him.

UCLA Anderson Announces New International Student Loan

UCLA Anderson is pleased to announce it has finalized an agreement with a new lender to provide loans for incoming international students. (Returning students for the 2010-11 academic year will continue to be covered through the UCLA Foundation's ALPS loan program.) We have loans available for international students without US cosigners availalable through the Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union (ELFCU).

The program is competitive with the rates and terms of other leading loans in the market.

Office Closure on Friday, August 13, 2010

The MBA Admissions and Financial Aid office at UCLA Anderson will be closed on Friday, August 13, 2010 for an Administrative Holiday.  The office will open again on Monday, August 16, 2010.
