UCLA Anderson hosted the 5th annual Net Impact Consulting Challenge (NICC) on campus this past February 27th. The student competition provided opportunities for 68 graduate students from various programs across campus, including our own UCLA Anderson students, with the opportunity to compete as consultants assisting Los Angeles based nonprofit organizations.
After working with their clients for 17 days, the twelve student teams presented their recommendations to a panel of distinguished judges. The winners of this year’s NICC are a UCLA Anderson team working with Project Grad LA. Project Grad LA is an organization which seeks to assist underprivileged Los Angeles communities with early college outreach.
This event is one of many opportunities UCLA Anderson students have to gain hands-on experience in a variety of industries and learn more about the business challenges faced by people in the nonprofit and social entrepreneurship arena.
