Final exams are over, winter quarter is over, spring break is over and the 3rd quarter has just started. So, is the 1st week an intro period to adjust in classes and homework? Is the 3rd quarter for 1st year students easier than the 2nd? Yes and no! It all depends on how many and which electives each student decided to bid and take in addition to the 2 Management core courses (http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/x2970.xml). Each course has a different grading system and workload requirements. Critical components of grading are typically individual assignments, group assignments, class participation, midterm and final exams. Fortunately, there is a huge variety of electives for students to choose according to their desired career path and interests (http://www.anderson.ucla.edu/x9071.xml). Are you for example a consulting fan? Are you interested mostly in finance and not so much in marketing or real estate? No problem! Approximately 50% of the Full-time MBA Program curriculum consists of electives of every desired business specialization. So, start searching right away business areas of your interest and customize your studies exactly as you want…
